Coming from a small town into a big city I know nothing about has been an overwhelming and exhausting experience.  Asking for help feels like a feat that is hard to come by. I didn't know anything; was uneducated on how to find my way around, and with some of the resources provided, it didn't feel like it was helpful enough. I've wasted my own resources, especially on people who were just using me. Food and money feel like commodities when you become homeless.. and proper shelter (including a clean comfortable atmosphere with running utilities).  I've never lived in a perfect setting. No privacy, not being stolen from, having enough food, no worries about finances or appliances breaking down, never having to worry about water troubles, rodent or bug problems, infestations, having to climb up flights of stairs, places being in nearby vicinities, unnecessary rules and procedures, being around heartless and rude people, so much to list...
